Pilates
Pilates is a full-body conditioning program that improves balance, flexibility, and coordination. Using techniques that realign your body’s position, you will find you are able to move more efficiently, gracefully and effortlessly. Pilates can also help to alleviate neck, shoulder and back discomfort, and release the held tension that is an inevitability of our busy twenty-first century lives.
Pilates makes use of a few specialized tools that are provided in class including:
- Stability Barrel ™ - ideal for aligning and mobilizing the spine, improving posture, and developing balance and control. It is a versatile, multi-purpose tool with the added ability to be used inverted or upright
- Pilates Ring – provides feedback as to which muscles are being used
- Weighted Balls – held in the hands during mat work, 2 lb balls increase workout intensity

Intermediate:
Tuesday 12:00 pm, Thursday 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, and Friday 7:30 am (60 min in length)
